Generous tax credits for donations are available to anyone who pays income tax. You can deduct 75% of the first $200 contributed, 50% of the next $900 contributed, and 33% of the next $900 contributed.

Contributions over $375 are made public by the Chief Electoral Officer.
Maximum donation allowed to any one candidate is $2,000
An eligible contributor is defined as:
- A resident of Alberta;
- A corporation registered in Alberta;
- Trade unions; and
- Employee organizations.
Unincorporated groups must have receipts issued in the names of individuals or partners.
No donations will be accepted that contravene the Election Finances and Contribution Disclosure Act. The Ed Stelmach Campaign reserves the right to refuse any donation. |
